Dhruv

Born in London, brought up in Singapore, Dhruv has always found ways to write music from a very young age. In 2019 he finally had the chance to record and finish one of his ideas titled “double take”.  Having had “double take” out for a while, as well as other singles “moonlight” and “vulnerable”, Dhruv has started to pick up a ton of momentum on “double take” in 2021 especially via Tiktok and Spotify. With over a million Spotify plays daily on the single alone now, and over 5K original videos using “double take” daily on Tiktok, Dhruv has quickly built a cult-like, global following, as his ability to translate personal, distinctive experiences is one-of-a-kind, and has both old and new fans constantly playing  the 3 songs that are out. 

With the exponential growth in fanbase, Dhruv announced the release of his debut EP rapunzel which he’s been working on for a couple of years now, which is set to drop later this year.. Some words below about the project from dhruv: 

“rapunzel’ is a scrapbook I’ve kept during a really important few years of personal growth. The title is in reference to a lyric in the closing track, which talks about our childhood selves often being our least inhibited and truest selves. In many ways, I think this project is about me trying to find that version of myself.”
