Hemlocke Springs

Hemlocke Springs is a North Carolina based all-round artist who released her first single “gimme all ur luv” in 2022, which was immediately cosigned by Grimes, and then followed by “girlfriend”, a single which quickly affirmed her place as one of alt-pop’s most progressive and prodigious  new talents, garnering over 30 million streams. Having had support from the likes of Pitchfork, FADER, Rolling Stone, and cosigns from artists such as Steve Lacy, Toro y Moi, Doja Cat, and more, Hemlocke is one of if not the most exciting artists in the music right now. 

With her ability to combine expansive, unconventional production, as well as both personal and fantastical themes in her songs, there’s not many artists approaching music from such an authentic yet fun and experimental lens. What’s even more incredible is Hemlocke’s ability to create all the music herself, from the production to the writing, which adds even more relevance to why her growing fanbase is so obsessed with her right now. Having dropped another single titled “sever the blight” last week, Hemlocke also announced she’ll be playing at Lollapalooza, which only means this year is only looking up for her.
